If you are a LPN and want to pursue a RN license at home, Excelsior College may be the opportunity for you. Excelsior College has a distance learning program designed to help students become RNs. Qualifications for applying for the LPN to RN program

You must already have LPN licensure. You will need to send a copy of your current license with your application for admission. You can also be qualified for the program if you have finished at least 50 percent of clinical nursing hours with at least a C average in an associate's nursing program.
