With the regular season completed, 72 teams reached bowl eligibility for the 68 bowl slots, and all bowl bids have been awarded. The BCS Championship Game will pit Oklahoma and Florida.
One interesting late development involves the Poinsettia Bowl Dec. 23. Apparently, two highly ranked, non-BCS conference teams will meet in San Diego, in undefeated Boise State and Texas Christian, both of which are ranked in the Top 14 of the BCS standings.
